The technical possibility to examine epigenetic regulation at a genomwide scale has only very recently been realized. Therefore, few data is available on changes in epigenetic regulation with ageing and under DR.

Darren Daniels, Sofia Lisanti and Howsun Jow are using MeDIP technology to analyse genomwide DNA methylation pattern and will compare these to the results of Affymetrix array transcription analysis.
