PASS stands for Peer Assisted Study Support and offers Combined Honours Students an informal space in which they can discuss and resolve issues or questions that may arise from their work through peer assistance from more experienced CH students.
The PASS Advisors will be available to informally assist and guide their peer students with academic issues arising from their work, for example; referencing, proof reading. The PASSAdvisors are professionally trained in order to offer advice in academic writing by a member of the Writing Development Centre. But note they are guides and not teachers. The sessions can be drop in, or you can arrange an appointment by e-mailing f.rinaldo-langridge@ncl.ac.uk (who is Student Coordinator of PASS)
The PASS Advisors are a group of Combined Honours students who are also either Peer Advisors or Mentors.
The Combined Honours Common Room
The scheme runs drop in sessions on Mondays 11am-1pm and Wednesday 1-3pm. Appointments can also be booked at the discretion and availability of PASS advisors.

You can drop by with any essay or assignment and students can give you feedback on:
We've started getting feedback about the scheme and there's some really solid evidence that students who use the scheme have been receiving better grades back from recent assignments.
