The role of the Student Staff Committee (SSC)

The SSC is pivotal to the policy of partnership between students and staff on Combined Honours. The SSC is the ‘engine-room’ of democratic governance of the degree. Therefore the SSC is student led where an elected Chair (student) and Secretary (student). The role of the staff facilitator is undertaken by Colin Bryson as Degree Programme Director but any other staff only attend the SCC at the invitation of the student members.
