The convention concept of Coordinated Atomic Action (CAA) is based on the trust that all participants interact with each other according to the specified CAA protocol. But this assumption is unwarranted for heterogeneous and open distributed systems, such as in many kinds of multi-agent systems. In this talk I will show how---using law-governed interaction (LGI)---CAA can be applied to this kinds of systems, even if all the participants of a CAA are Byzantine.
