Besides wireless communications, antennas are used in various medical areas, for instance Microwave Tomography, Hyperthermia Cancer Treatment, Parkinson Disease Treatment and Intra-Cortical Proximity Communications. In the seminar, we will discuss how novel antenna design can help these techniques to battle the complex and non-homogenous environment of human body for maximum performance. Some of the preliminary results will be presented as well.
