Placement Overview Aim:  To customise a CRM system with reporting facilities for SSC

Sunderland Software City is looking to optimse its operations and establish an online database of its clients. The candidate is expected capture SSC's requirements and examine suitable CRM systems available in the market.  The candidate shall then customise the chosen system to suit our requirements ensuring compatibility and ease of use.

It is essential to follow a logical approach throughout the entire project beginning from selection of appropriate system, implementation and customising.

The candidate is NOT expected to design a new system, however needs to select an existing system and customise it to suit our requirements.

Student Specification Essential Requirements:

§  Computer Science or IT related background

§  Good understanding of DBMS and CRM systems

§  Knowledge of operating systems

§  Ability to capture customer requirements

§  Must be able to work independently

§  Prior experience of working on databases or CRM systems (desirable)


The project can be carried out remotely (home based), however the candidate will be required to visit our office for discussions and to provide a demo after completion. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
