Employability events: A day in the life of a developer (Scott Logic)

Semester 2 DYPS talks (Develop Your Professional Skills) start on Wednesday, 1st Feb in CLT 1.01, with pizza available from 1:15 pm and the talk starting at about 1.45pm. All students are welcome.

This week’s talk is "A day in the life of a developer", presented by Simon Watson of Scott Logic:
What does a developer do all day and what skills do they need? It’s not all about sitting at a desk and bashing out code. By the end of the session you should have a good idea of what a developer does during a typical day and the skills that come into play in order to perform those tasks.
The schedule of talks includes topics on Microbit, Docker, Mobile Development and others.
