Stage 2 Students Impress Virgin Money

Virgin Money invited two teams of our Stage 2 undergraduate students to their Newcastle offices on March 15th 2017.

Virgin Money invited two teams of our Stage 2 undergraduate students to their Newcastle offices on March 15th 2017 to present the work they are undertaking for the Software Engineering Team Project module. Two members of that module's team, John Colquhoun and Daniel Nesbitt accompanied the students. The event was organised by Virgin Money Digital e-Commerce Manager Taya Allen who herself graduated from the School of Computing Science in 2012. John Colquhoun said "Both of the teams delivered a fantastic presentation. They were a real credit to the School. They showcased to a big local employer the quality of students we have and their innovative ideas. It was a good experience for them to chat to members of Virgin Money staff including a former student and we'd like to thank Virgin Money for inviting the teams here." Daniel Nesbitt added "It was a brilliant afternoon and I am really proud of all of our students."
