Claire Smith

Research Administrator ICOS Group

Background

Claire is Research Administrator to the ICOS Research Group (Interdisciplinary Computing and Complex BioSystems).

Claire is responsible for the co-ordination of project administration and policy for the group and its multitude of activities; including pre and post research award support.   Project management and co-ordination for the group academics, including the organisation of conferences, workshops and seminars. Claire also collates and presents data in relation to the Research Excellence Framework. Claire also proactively monitors research funding opportunities and advises the group of any relevant funding calls.

Claire is also Personal Assistant to Prof. Natalio Krasnagor and Prof. Anil Wipat.

Claire was previously employed within the Centre for Software Reliability (University Research Centre) as Research/Centre Administrator.  During this time, Claire also supported the co-ordination of the Safety-Critical Systems Club.
