Our research groups reflect the areas in which Newcastle University has major expertise. Many researchers are active in more than one group.

    		The Background Draw A Secret technology developed by Jeff Yan of the Dependability group.
    Research within the groups is also supplemented by agile and cross-cutting themes. These are formed to address new challenges which do not fall neatly into the remit of one of the current groups.
