eXSys - e-Science Solutions for the Analysis of Complex Systems

The project aims to develop a software tool to help the discovery of new drug targets on the basis of the analysis of protein interaction networks of parasite and host organisms. The tool will be used also to design recovery strategies for damaged protein interaction systems (e.g., genetically inherited diseases). In addition we will extend the application of network analysis tools to the analysis and design of secure and robust information systems.
