MULTIPLECX - Multi-party processes for Large-scale Electronic Commerce transactions

The project will develop technologies and demonstrate prototypes for robust, scalable usiness-to-Business electronic commerce operating securely over the open, public internet. The technology objectives are to enable e-commerce by developing: i) business protocols and a transaction management system for multiple phases of the life-cycle of a commercial transaction; ii) a credential authentication framework, between multiple parties, with a single authentication; iii) secure object services over different infrastructure. The user objectives are to demonstrate working solutions which overcome some of the key inhibitors to the large-scale take-up of business-to-business e-commerc.
