The aim of the WAVES project is to establish the feasibility of a multi-centre randomised controlled trial to determine the clinical effectiveness and cost effectiveness of a wrist-worm vibrating-alert accelerometer for promotion of upper limb activity during a self-supervised rehabilitation programme after a stroke.
