Claire is P.A. to Dr. John Fitzgerald and Prof. Cliff Jones and also the Research Centre Office Manager, Joan Atkinson.  Claire also gives administration support to the Dependability Group, led by Prof. Sascha Romanovsky.

Her duties relate to the overall organisation and co-ordination of workshops and seminars (of varying sizes), venue visits and selection (and most enjoyable - negotiation), arranging travel, accommodation and meetings.

Claire is also responsible for the input and maintenance of the SCSC and CSR website (currently undergoing a major redesign and update) and creation of web sites on a per event basis, the supervision of Dee and co-ordinating the day to day efficiency of the general office.  She also has responsibility for financial administration of the CSR, Club and associated research accounts.

Claire is also the in-house designer for the Centre's publicity material, posters and any other documents that needs to be produced with an artistic flair.

Claire provides administration support for Joan Atkinson who works as the Safety Club Administrator in maintaining the SCSC. Claire also prepares all publicity material, oversees mailings to a database of approx. 1,800 contact addresses, joining information for events, collation of information packs, liaising with delegates.
