Dr Paul Robinson is a Senior Software Engineer at JBoss by Red Hat and a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Paul has 10 years experience in middleware R&D, where his interest lie mostly in dependability and usability.
At Red Hat, Paul leads the Web Service Transactions project. He is also a member of the Transactions team, working on the highly successful Arjuna project that span out of Newcastle University. Before working at Red Hat Paul lead Consultancy at Arjuna Technologies.
In his role as a Visiting Research Fellow, Paul teaches JEE and distributed transactions to Masters students. He also publishes the occasional research paper and undertakes student supervision.
