The aims of a placement are to provide experience:
- seeking and securing a position with an employer
- of practical work which will benefit your academic study and longer term career
- recognising and recording the development of work place skills
- personal development in a non-university setting
How to apply for an industrial placement
All of our undergraduate degrees are available with a placement option.
If you are registered on one of the industrial placement versions of the Computing Science degrees, an industrial placement after completion of Stage Two is compulsory.
If you are considering a placement, it is possible to transfer onto this degree once you have obtained an approved placement.
