Accommodation must be booked with a venue which is on the University’s approved accommodation list or paid for by individuals (by prior agreement only) and reimbursed via the University’s expenses procedure.
University accommodation may be booked via the Conference Office. The website gives an illustration of the different types of accommodation available.
NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau offer an online accommodation booking procedure for the convenience of your delegates.
Wherever possible, travel must be arranged through one of the University’s approved travel agents using the University’s financial management system (SAP).
Where this is not possible, travel may be paid for by individuals (by prior agreement) and reimbursed via the University’s expenses procedures.
Payment will not be made directly to a travel agent who is not on the University’s approved supplier list.
