To be eligible to attend a ceremony and to receive a parchment, you must have cleared all your financial obligations to the University, including:
All students are encouraged to ensure that all of their financial obligations are cleared as soon as possible. All debts to the University must be reduced to under £100 by 13 November 2013 in order for a student to attend a December 2013 ceremony, and the debts must be cleared completely in order for a student to receive their parchment (this includes returning all outstanding library items, except where the student is continuing to study at Newcastle or becoming a staff member).
If you are a debtor to Newcastle University and you are registered to the December 2013 Congregations, we will email you in October 2013 to remind you to clear the debt. If you have not received an email by the end of October 2013, and you wish to check whether you have debts, please get in touch with the relevant office using the contact details below:
