Ceremonies
At Newcastle University we hold three sets of ceremonies annually:
- February (Shanghai ceremony) for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees, and Certificates and Diplomas. This ceremony is aimed at any student who wishes to attend a Newcastle University Congregation ceremony in China.
- July (Summer ceremonies) for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees, and Certificates and Diplomas. The majority of students at July ceremonies attend for undergraduate awards.
- December (Winter ceremonies) for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees, and Certificates and Diplomas. The majority of students at December ceremonies attend for postgraduate awards.
2013 Ceremonies
- December 2013: 3, 4 and 5 December 2013. Please click here for the Graduation Schedule. All students expected to graduate in December 2013 will receive an invitation email from the Congregations Office during week commencing 9 September. If you think you may be eligible to graduate in December 2013 but haven't received an invitation email, please click here.
2014 Ceremonies
- February 2014 - Shanghai Congregation: 22 February 2014 (venue will be announced shortly)
- July 2014: 8 to 16 July 2014, not including Saturday and Sunday (Provisional Dates Only)
- December 2014: 2, 3 and 4 December 2014 (Provisional Dates Only)
