On the Day - Checklist for all Candidates (December 2013 Congregations)

- At least an hour before your ceremony, collect your tickets (you will need to show photographic ID) and your academic dress from The Venue, Students' Union Building.
- Either before or after your ceremony, collect your parchment (if you have not already received it) from The Venue, Students' Union Building. If you have not fulfilled all your financial obligations to the University, your parchment will not be available to you. Please note that if you have already received your parchment, you do not need to bring it with you to your ceremony.
- 30 minutes before the ceremony - go to King’s Hall, Armstrong Building, to be registered and seated. Please note: if you arrive at King’s Hall early you may have to wait outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather!
- 15 minutes before the ceremony - both King's Hall and TV Relay guests will be seated.
- Your ceremony will last between 45 minutes and one hour.
- After the ceremony - attend the reception (if you wish to). The start time and location will be stated on your ticket.
- Before your ceremony or after the reception, get official photographs taken (if desired), in The Venue, Students' Union Building. Ensure you have allowed plenty of time for this, in case of queues.
- Finally - return your academic dress to The Venue, Students' Union Building. Please note the opening times of the academic dress outlet here.
