Building CRE Japanese Links

Luke Dilley, previously a doctoral student at the Centre for Rural Economy, has recently started a post in the Centre for Regional Partnerships in the School of Agriculture, Kobe University.

In his current post, Luke hopes to develop an understanding of the Japanese approach to rural development with a view to add to efforts to develop international collaboration between rural development researchers and practitioners.

Luke's appointment builds on visits by academics from Japan to CRE over the last decade.
