Katy Wilkinson contributed an opinion piece to Farmers Weekly (29/1/10) titled "Should Defra rule by the heart or by the head?", arguing that evidence-based policy making is often a way for government to avoid making difficult policy decisions. The article draws on work done by two Relu-funded researchers, Abigail Woods and Wyn Grant, as well as her own research into bovine tuberculosis.
