CRE celebrates artistic partnerships

As the application period for the annual CRE/Berwick Visual Arts residency closes, we celebrate five years of artists’ residencies at the Centre for Rural Economy.

We have worked with a range of partners to facilitate this work exploring rural issues from a completely different perspective that draws upon but reaches beyond the academic.  This forthcoming  fifth residency in partnership with Berwick Visual Arts, will ask the successful candidate to respond to the theme “Materials and Materiality”.  The artist is expected to be appointed in October 2017 for six months.
