A new handbook of rural studies, edited by Newcastle University's Mark Shucksmith and Cornell's University David Brown, has been published by Routledge.  CRE has made a major contribution to this important publication, with chapters from CRE researchers Jeremy Phillipson on coastal fisheries and Menelaos Gkartzios on rural housing.
