Here at the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) we understand that the decision to take part in a research study is a very important one.
Clinical research aims to answer a particular health-related question. There are many different types of clinical research:
There are lots of different studies running at the CRF so we have lots of experience with different tests and sample collection and if you want to withdraw from the study at any time you can.
If you do decide to take part in a clinical research study this will all be explained to you. If you would like to take part in a trial you can register as a volunteer.
We hope that the following information will help you understand a little more about clinical research and tell you more about our centre:
“The unit is an excellent one, staffed by professionals who are dedicated
to the care of their patients”
Patient Surveys: 2008 and 2009
“The nursing staff are very well informed regarding the drugs and the treatment and are always able to answer any questions”
Patient Surveys: 2008 and 2009
