"Cellular therapies are at the cutting edge of modern medicine and Newcastle is at the heart of their development."
Prof John Isaacs, Professor of Clinical Rheumatology and Director of the Institute of Cellular Medicine
The Facility primarily supports the world class scientific research into cellular therapies being conducted by scientists at Newcastle University together with clinicians at the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. A second, but equally important, aim is to provide a resource to the wider UK and European stem cell community in academia and industry.
We welcome enquiries from external universities, hospitals and companies, and offer a range of services to support your project from its early stages through to clinical trials and marketing authorization.
Please contact us to arrange to visit the facility and to talk about your cellular therapy project.
