The Changes in Working Practices in the Service Sector, is a project being undertaken on behalf of the UK Department for the Environment, Transport and the Regions which explores the implications of new forms of work organisation and consumer behaviour for current and future land use and travel patterns and policy. The project undertaken together with Arup Economics and Planning examines a number of sectors including financial services, business and computer services, public services, retailing, leisure and logistics and distribution.
