Colgate Commendation for PhD student Rachel Williams
Rachel Williams (2nd year PhD student, COHR and ICM) gained a commendation for her paper: 'Leptin synergistically enhances an extracellular matrix-degrading gingival fibroblast phenotype' in the recent Senior Colgate competition at the British Society for Oral and Dental Research conference hosted by Bristol University in September.
Rachel's research is funded jointly by the MRC, the ICM and the COHR as part of the Translational Oral Biosciences theme.
