Newcastle and the North East

Probably one of the most welcoming and friendly cities in Britain, Newcastle is attractive and compact, with everything you’d expect from a major provincial city. Whether it’s high culture at the Sage music centre, major rock and pop artists at the Newcastle Arena, museums, art galleries, science city, quiet parks or lively night-life, you’ll find it all in Newcastle.

Living costs are some of the most reasonable in the country, and most places are easily reached on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. This is not a city snarled by traffic congestion, with great transport infrastructure including the Metro, safe cycle lanes and easy rail, road, sea and air connections.

Added to that, we are enviably located in one of the most unspoiled and beautiful regions of the country, with easy access to stunning, clean beaches and delightful countryside.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to study or work.
