Salary: £38,951 - £45,155 per annum

The University of Glasgow intends to appoint a Lecturer in Immunology. Based in the Dental School (http://www.gla.ac.uk/schools/dental/), but interacting closely with the Inflammation, Infection & Immunity Division of the Medical Faculty (http://www.gla.ac.uk/departments/immunology/), you will contribute to the research and teaching activities of the School. The appointee would be expected to provide high level immunology input into the Dental School research programme and to develop an independent research profile. There would also be a requirement to provide training and support for postgraduate students and limited teaching for undergraduate students. Experience of health-care related research would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Applicants should have a degree in immunology (or a related degree in the life sciences with significant immunology content) and a PhD or equivalent.
