Dr Sarah Rolland leads the team of expert clinicians, teachers and researchers who contribute to the course.
This three year programme is available to specialist trainees enrolled on the Northern Deanery Specialist training programme. The course has been running for the past two decades with a good national reputation. Our previous graduates can be found in prestigious practices, senior academic posts and in hospital consultant positions.
The course provides the theoretical teaching to support the development of an orthodontic specialist. We provide a comprehensive seminar programme incorporating the theoretical and diagnostic elements of specialist knowledge, and the opportunity of carrying out a research project allied to the School’s research strategy. We encourage our students to publish their research work in scientific journals.
