Funding and Support

The Hardware Loans Scheme is available to assist disabled staff at work. Managers can refer staff through Occupational Health.

A Case Approach has been developed to provide support for disabled staff where the disabled person and appropriate representatives of University management and specialist advisers will meet to discuss the needs of the individual, agree an action plan, and arrange for its implementation. The guidance on this approach has been incorporated into the Manager and Staff toolkits.
