As one of his first activities, the new director of the North Leadership Centre (NLC), René Koglbauer was delighted to be able to welcome Prof Liu Baocun and Assistant Prof Qiang Liu from the Institute of International and Comparative Education (IICE) at Beijing Normal University. During the meeting, René explained the work of the North Leadership Centre and its position within the region as well as the university and school. Ideas for future collaborations with regards to training Chinese school leaders have been exchanged and René was invited to visit  the colleagues during his next China trip in October 2013.
