Increasingly, due to the rapidly changing nature of the modern workplace, individuals may find themselves in positions of leadership, both formal and informal, without having had any formal preparation. This module aims to introduce participants to key leadership and management issues within the context of the multi-disciplinary working environment. Through use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) the module encourages participants to identify their preferred way of working and reflect on the impact that has on those around them. Through discussion of workplace scenarios the module aims to explore some established leadership models and encourages participants to incorporate new approaches into their own portfolio of skills and behaviours within their own leadership context.
