This forms part of a larger project looking at Parkinson's disease in Tanzania in a previously unmedicated population and monitoring change subsequent to medical therapy. We have produced the first Swahili standardised protocol for assessing speech changes and their psychosocial impact in neurological disorders. Initially this is for the specific project, but after further testing it will be made available to speakers of Swahili anywhere.
