Cross-Cultural Communications: Entry Requirements

For entry onto any of our Cross Cultural Communication programmes, you should have at least a good second-class Honours degree, or equivalent, in any subject, although the following are preferred:

  • language and linguistics,
  • communication studies,
  • TESOL,
  • translation,
  • education,
  • media studies,
  • business,
  • marketing and politics,

Applicants whose first language is not English should have a minimum of IELTS with 6.5 overall with at least 6.5 in writing and 6.0 in all other sub sections, TOEFL IBT 90 with no sub score below: Reading 22; Listening 21; Speaking 24; Writing 24.
