The modules listed below form the physics major available to students taking the Natural Science B.Sc. degree. In total, 40 credits of material are available at each stage, together with 20 credit extended projects at stage 3. The material covered spans the majority of topics treated in a standard physics undergraduate programme and as a result, this major has been awarded Institute of Physics Recognition.
The modules are also available to students who are not involved in the Natural Science program and who have the requisite interest and background in physics and mathematics. Enquiries can be addressed to patrick.briddon@ncl.ac.uk.
