Scholarships & Prizes available to Undergraduates

 

School of EECE Excellence Scholarships - for Home/EU students : £2000/year + Laptop

Conditions for award of scholarship: If you achieve A level grades of AAB or equivalent, you will be offered a School Excellence Scholarship of £2,000 per year of study (conditional on achieving not less than 55% average in the previous year) and a laptop which will come equipped with software and information you will need for your time studying with us. **

 

School of EECE Achievement Scholarships - for Home/EU students : £1000/year + Laptop

Conditions for award of scholarship: If you achieve A level grades of below ABB or equivalent and meet our offer, you must put us as first (firm) choice on your UCAS form, you will be offered a School Achievement Scholarship of £1,000 per year of study (conditional on achieving not less than 55% average in the previous year) and a laptop which will come equipped with software and information you will need for your time studying with us. **

 

School of EECE Overseas Scholarships : £3000/year + Laptop

Conditions for award of scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to those who are considered to be Overseas Students for fee paying purposes and who meet the conditions of our offer for a place on one of the courses in the School of EECE and choosing this course as their UCAS first choice. Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years will be conditional on achieving satisfactory performance, i.e. not less than a 55% average in the previous year. The overseas scholarship will be used each year to reduce the University fees which are payable on registration. This scholarship is not available to those applicants applying for the Foundation year or who are fully sponsored by a company or government. There is also a laptop which will come equipped with software and information you will need for your time studying with us. **

If a University IUMS scholarship is also held then the value of the School scholarship will be reduced so as to keep their combined total value in any one year to £3000.

 

Wilson Campbell Scholarship: £1000/year

Conditions for award of scholarship:

  • Must be considered to be Home/EU Students for fee paying purposes.
  • Must meet the conditions of our offer
  • Must choose the course, within our School, as their UCAS first choice (i.e. their FIRM choice).
  • Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years will be conditional on achieving satisfactory performance, i.e. not less than a 55% average in the previous year.
  • This scholarship is not available to those applicants applying for the foundation year or for those awarded another University or School award.
