EEE Disability Statement

The School of EEE, in conjunction with the Universities Disability Support Service, makes every effort to cater for the requirements of its students and staff in order to provide maximum benefit and use of its facilities and learning material. In particular the following arrangements are in place or can be provided upon request.

Access

All Entrances easily accessible & routes clearly marked.
Automatically operated access doors to the building.
Lift to all floors, and laboratories, with induction loop assistance fitted.

School Reception

Fitted with Induction Loop and low level writing tablet

Lecture material

Available in large print if required.

Computing Facilities

Computing equipment and facilities modified to the individuals requirements Dolphin Supernova software available through Disability Services http://www.dolphincomputeraccess.com/products/supernova.htm

Laboratory Facilities

Specialised laboratory sessions.
Ability to tailor equipment or the laboratory environment to the individual.
Large print Laboratory experiment sheets.

Examinations

Assistance with exam scripts as required by the candidate, please note that you must declare your challenge and register with the Disability Support Service during registration.

Fire Safety

Both visual and audible alarm system.
Emergency egress arrangements and provision provided in the form of Evac Chairs, please make the Fire Marshall aware of your requirements as soon as possible.
