Congratulations to Rimoon Agaiby who has been awarded the prestigious IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) Graduate Fellowship for 2006

Rimoon Agaiby, a final year PhD student supervised by Prof. Anthony O'Neill has been awarded the prestigious IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) Graduate Fellowship for 2006.  The society has given out 4 such awards with only one awarded to the Europe/Mid-East/Africa geographical location.  The award is to be presented to him at the International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM) 2006, later this year in San Francisco, USA.  The IEEE Electron Devices Society Graduate Student Fellowship was designed to promote, recognize and support graduate level study and research within the Electron Devices Society's field of interest.  In addition, The EDS Newsletter will feature articles about the EDS Graduate Fellows and their work over the course of the next year.
