Sevcon, who are based in Gateshead are the manufacturers of high quality motor controllers and system components for electric vehicles.  The company is dedicated to the design and development of cutting edge products which impact on the way people around the world travel, work and live. 

The company is offering a sponsorship arrangement for an undergraduate student from stage 1, which will include the company paying their fees and providing paid summer work during the vacation.  The application process will be in March/April 2012 and the successful student can expect to be working in the company this summer, with their fees being paid from September.
