EEE Poster - Solar power systems
Description
Research carried out with BP Solar, Scottish Power, Turbo Power Systems and NaREC has resulted in the development of power electronic converter systems for connecting solar power arrays to the national grid. Important issues covered included the ability to efficiently extract the maximum power from the solar panel and to achieve high-quality power injection into the grid.
