Software consultancy
Newcastle University's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is able to undertake commercial programming for industrial clients in a number of technical software languages.
We both use and teach many different software languages every day. As well as the common software engineering languages such as 'C' we can provide programming in graphical languages like LabView® or write embedded code for Digital Signal Processors (DSP), FPGA and microcontrollers.
We also have experience of using Matlab and Simulink for modelling electrical and electronic complex systems. Significant experience of industrial control systems and the associated PLC programming is available too.
