Introduction

James joined Newcastle University in December 2009 from a senior position in the aerospace industry.

James coordinates the Newcastle University Centre for Advanced Electrical Drives, which provides industry with expert design and research services in electrical machines and their associated electronics. He also undertakes research into novel electrical machines.
