Information will be available in March 2018
I study QV31, how do I choose my History Modules?
- Stage 2 modules will be chosen on S3P using the normal process.
- Stage 3 modules will not be available on the S3P portal, instead please choose either HIS0001 or HIS0002, or both. Please note these codes can only be used once. On the 4th May after 9am please complete the History Module Selection Form and submit the codes of the modules you would like to take.
How do I take an outside module?
Modules that are not listed in your degree regulations will not appear on your list, so you will need to sign up to a ‘dummy’ module and complete a module change form at the beginning of Semester 1. Choose the right code(s) from the table below:
Stage 2 Dummy Codes
10 credits in semester 1 HSS2110
10 credits in semester 2 HSS2210
20 credits in semester 1 HSS2120
20 credits in semester 2 HSS2220
Stage 3 Dummy Codes
10 credits in semester 1 HSS3110
10 credits in semester 2 HSS3210
20 credits in semester 1 HSS3120
20 credits in semester 2 HSS3220
How long will it take?
A few minutes.
Will I get my first choice of modules?
You need to login as soon as possible and work quickly, have back-up modules in case your first choices are full. You will have the chance to save modules to an ‘express interest screen’ however this is not a waiting list.
What if I change my mind or make a mistake?
There will be a chance to change modules during the beginning of Semester 1. If your choices do not comply with your regulations, we will be in touch.
I’m hoping to have a semester abroad next year
Please contact Adam Mearns as Study Abroad Officer. You should sign up on S3P as though you were not going abroad, then adjust later.
What if I suffer technical problems?
Please don’t panic. Try the email@example.com or phone 0191 208 5559.
