Andrew Crumey's new novel Sputnik Caledonia, for which he won the £60,000 Northern Rock Foundation Award, has been published by Picador, the first title in the publisher's new strategy of dual hardback/paperback release.
Crumey's fourth novel, Mr Mee, was longlisted for the Booker Prize and his fifth, Mobius Dick, was a finalist in the Commonwealth Writer's Prize. His novels have been translated into 15 languages. He teaches on the MA and PhD creative writing programmes.
