Research-informed teaching

Newcastle University is a research intensive institution and a member of the elite Russell Group of UK Universities. We believe good teaching grows out of research.

We encourage our students to think of themselves as researchers. Our range of teaching reflects this and is often at the forefront of exciting developments in our subject areas.
