Postgraduate Support
The School is committed to its postgraduate community and this is reflected in the generous support available to its postgraduate students. In addition to free printing, computing facilities, and Interlibrary Loans, the School provides a series of competitive support funds every semester:
- Postgraduate Conference Fund: this fund aims to support students wishing to organize a conference within the School.
- Writing-up fund: up to £2000 per student to assist postgraduates in the final stages of their PhD in circumstances of financial hardship.
- Postgraduate Research Support Fund: to support research trips, archive visits, and conference attendance outside Newcastle.
