School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics Masters Bursary Awards 2015-16

The School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics will be offering six bursary awards, worth £12k each, to outstanding applicants who hold a place on one of our Masters programmes for 2015-16.

Successful applicants will be expected to achieve a first-class at undergraduate level, and to make a persuasive case for how their Masters study will lead on to doctoral work.

You can apply for a bursary award to support your study on any of the following Masters programmes:

  • MA by Research (MLitt) in Literature
  • MA by Research (MLitt) in Linguistics
  • MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature
  • MA in English Literature: 1500-1900
  • MA in Creative Writing
  • MA in Linguistics

Details of how to apply will be posted here in late February 2015. The deadline for application will be in June 2015, and decisions will be announced in July 2015.
