Background

Prof Harry Bradbury founded Intelligent Energy a fuel cell technology and hydrogen generation technologies company. Harry is Chief Executive of Intelligent Energy and has ten years experience in teaching and research and has worked internationally for local and global companies and has acted as advisor to ten national governments including the UK.
Prof Harry Bradbury has recently been on a secondment from the University and has been working with the Kingdom of Bahrain. This finished this summer.

Roles and Responsibilities

Prof of Practice Harry Bradbury works under the Newcastle Science City theme of Energy and Environment.

Research Interests

Prof Harry Bradbury is working with Newcastle University research groups to progress the aims of Newcastle Science City and the four key themes of Newcastle Science City
• Underground Coal Gasification: Prof Bradbury has worked with researchers from the Sir Joseph Swan Institute who are investigating large-scale sources of essentially carbon-free geothermal energy, and developing more responsible modes of fossil fuel use.
